Willingdon Athletic U13s vs St Francis Rangers

The air was full of nervous optimism for this season opener at the Eastbourne Sports Park.
The boys began brightly and Oscar soon put us in front with a well worked goal. A second followed quickly from Jack, another goal from a corner for the big man. Anthony finished the half off for us with two individual goals dribbling in from the left.

The second half was a far more even affair and St Francis pulled a goal back early on. The game never looked in doubt however and Jacob finished the game off with a right foot finish at the end.

Final score Willingdon 5 – 1 St. Francis
