Coming out of lockdown.
After a break of six weeks – since our friendly game against Ashurst Wood U13s – competitive football begins again on December 6th.
We have three winnable games before Christmas which would move us firmly into the top half of the table. The onus now though must be on getting points by building on our promising start to the season.
We are a team with a lot of skill in midfield and a solid back five. Moving forward I am looking for us to become a more fluid attacking unit, passing the ball slickly and using the pace we have up front.
Where we have come unstuck before, play has become scrappy due to overplaying in the middle, ball played forward has been slow and the defence has been put under unnecessary pressure with balls sideways and backwards.
