Hove Park Colts U13s vs Willingdon Athletic U13

Another comfortable victory and another clean sheet.

I thought I’d seen it all when we were thrown off our original pitch and had to relocate across Hove to a nine a side pitch. Although it was good to get a game on, it was fairly scrappy in truth with little in the way of quality passing.

We were able to overpower a smaller team to win 4-0 but the outstanding player was Hove Park’s number 10 who seemed to have extra time on the ball, glided passed his opponents in midfield and made some defence splitting passes.

Ollie was good down the right in the second half and scored a deserved goal. James and Toby were dominant at the back again and Will kept another clean sheet despite a couple of wobbly moments.

Final score :

Hove Park Colts 0 – 4 Willingdon Athletic

ello all. Another very impressive performance against a division 2 side. Before we go into the game details, I just want to say I’m hugely proud of these boys who observed the 1 minute silence in memory of tragic Jordon before kick off in respectable manner and did the club proud in what was a hard week for grass roots football 👏👏👏

So away to Hove Park Colts today a fantastic 4-0 win , another clean sheet that’s 4 in a row now !!!!

We looked very comfortable today with great goals from Jack , Matthew, Caiden and a 1st for Ollie in Willingdon colours 👏…..

The depth of this team just keeps getting stronger and stronger making the core 11 of this team hard when selecting a team to start. All boys did what was asked of them today and were again absolutely faultless ⚽️…. again the back line with Will were incredible again 👏 ( their manager after the game said to me that’s the hardest back line they’ve played against and was really impressed with Will !) …

But for me today, my player of the match is Fraser ⚽️👏👏. I thought he was excellent throughout the game and every week keeps improving, every week he’s asking how to get better and better and today his hard work paid off 👏👏👏…..

Ok, next week I’m off on my holidays 😊😊 so Richard and Leon will kindly lead training this week… Match details will be out soonish from sheps 👍 That’s it from me for a week ⚽️⚽️
Hope you all have a good week 😊
