Friendly Match | Home – Against Eastbourne Borough Blue U13

Hello all, a fantastic way to finish the season winning very easy 14-1 vs Eastbourne Borough Blue and today was our final outing as a team for a while as we prepare to enter tournament season …

Think it’s safe to say we’ve done very well this year especially with lockdowns ⚽️⚽️ lots of highs today …. Oscar Morris scored his 1st Willingdon goal 👏👏 Jacob got on the scoresheet 👏👏 Jack and Anthony continue their battle to be top goal scorer 👏👏 but 2 things really stood out for me today ..Jason put in a fantastic captain’s performance on the final day lead the team superbly and was unselfish today when in goal scoring positions 👏👏….

But last is James Morri and he was upset after conceding the penalty. I spoke to him to assure of the good things he’d done this season and to continue his brilliant performance to which he did I loved the way he was so passionate about not conceding goals …. for him then to tell me at full time it wasn’t even him that had given away the penalty 🤦‍♂️😂😂👏👏⚽️⚽️….

Details for Rusthall will be out later this week as I said tournaments ahead now they are not every week and I will be enjoying the the time off 😊😊⚽️⚽️….
